Data Sovereignty & Storage

Offline Scanning & Local Storage Architecture

NVIN Scanner is engineered with an offline-first architecture to protect your personal paperwork, identity cards, and business contracts from remote data exposure.

Operates 100% Without Internet
  • Live camera viewfinder and real-time edge detection
  • Four-corner perspective correction and image cropping
  • Threshold rendering (Black & White, Grayscale, Color)
  • Compilation of multi-page images into structured .pdf documents
  • Local PDF merging of multiple existing files
When External Network Is Used
  • 1App Installation & Updates: Downloading the app package from verified store listings.
  • 2User-Triggered Export: If you explicitly choose to email or WhatsApp your finished PDF to another party, that application performs the network transit.

Where Are Documents Stored on Your Phone?

Standard Android Storage Path
/Internal Storage/Documents/NVIN_Scanner/

All generated PDFs are written to the standard Android “Documents” public volume in an “NVIN_Scanner” subfolder. You can access them via any device file manager, attach them in emails, or back them up to a computer via USB cable.

Zero Cloud Uploads

We operate zero document storage servers. Documents stay entirely on your phone unless you manually share them.

Zero Forced Watermarks

NVIN Scanner never stamps “Scanned by NVIN” or advertisements across your professional legal paperwork.

Zero Telemetry Profiling

No analytics SDKs or advertising identifiers are included in NVIN Scanner builds.
