Getting Started with Readora

Follow this guide to get up and running with Readora on Android. Learn how to configure device permissions, open documents, navigate, and utilize viewing tools.

Step-by-Step Workflow

01

Launch Readora

Open Readora from your device home screen or application launcher. The app loads instantly with no splash delay or mandatory sign-up screens.

02

Grant Scoped Storage Permissions

On first launch, your Android OS will prompt for storage access. Grant permission so Readora can list and read PDF files stored in your Downloads or device folders.

03

Open a PDF Document

Tap any PDF in Readora's internal file browser, or open any PDF from WhatsApp, Gmail, or your file manager and select Readora as the default viewer.

04

Scroll & Jump Pages

Swipe up and down for smooth vertical reading. Tap the bottom page indicator bar to quickly jump to any specific page in a large multi-page document.

05

Pinch-to-Zoom & In-Document Search

Pinch with two fingers to zoom up to 400% on fine print. Tap the search icon in the top toolbar to find exact terms or phrases across the document.

06

Native Printing or Sharing

Tap the top-right menu to print directly via Android Print Spooler (Wi-Fi or USB) or share the document via your preferred messaging or email app.

Why Storage Permission is Required

Readora is an offline PDF reader that functions purely on files stored in your phone's memory. Android requires your authorization to read PDF files from your internal storage or external SD card. Readora accesses only .pdf documents and never monitors your private photos or personal application data.
